Esiankiki means 'women' in the Maasai language. It is not a coincidence that this is the name we chose for our company. Our cultural experiences are conceived, led and owned by the Maasai women who live these traditions every day.
Most safari visitors encounter the Maasai briefly — a village visit that lasts 45 minutes and feels transactional. Our approach is different. We arrange extended cultural immersions in which visitors spend a morning or afternoon with a group of Maasai women, learning beadwork, songs, food preparation and the stories that hold Maasai culture together.
These are not performances. The women who guide these experiences are the same women who spend their days making the same beadwork, singing the same songs and raising children in the same traditions their mothers and grandmothers taught them. Visitors leave not just with photographs but with a genuine understanding of what Maasai life actually looks and feels like.
